Specific Nerds are dedicated to your business account – one lead Nerd who maintains overall responsibility for your support and either one or two back up Nerds (depending on the scale of your business) who are familiar with your systems and personnel should the lead Nerd be unavailable.
Business customers receive the attention of our most experienced Nerds. These Nerds have been screened and benchmarked to ensure they are Nerdy enough to support your techie needs.
Dedicated Account Manager
Need A Nerd is one of the few technology support companies supporting small—medium businesses that have account managers (franchisees / managers) to support your technology requirements and manage the relationship.
Free Initial and Annual Assessment
Our Nerds provide a free assessment of your business’s IT system and produces written recommendations for management. We’ll identify your system’s risks, opportunities and help you plan for them.
Picking Your Brains
Your Super Nerd will audit your IT system and record their findings as a system site document. A copy of this will be held by you and Need A Nerd and the document will be updated after each site change.
If you are a small business (under 10 employees) the charge is guaranteed to be only one hour of labour, and for bigger businesses the guaranteed charge is two hours of labour. The living documents we produce means Need A Nerd will always know the health of your systems and so will you.
Our system reduces the time for a Nerd to get up to speed to fix a problem and ensures it’s easier to replicate your system if disaster strikes.
Data capture
You have all the records about your IT system captured and securely stored with Need A Nerd, so there’s no wasted time or money covering old ground because, we have your complete history at our nerdy little fingertips.

Need A Nerd is a nationwide brand servicing the small—medium business market and we stand behind our service. If it’s not right, we’ll sort it. It’s as simple as that.
We guarantee our response times. If your Nerd is running late and hasn’t phoned ahead to let you know, he or she will drop and give you 10 press-ups when they arrive and you won’t be charged service fees for the visit. The response times are:
Routine Service:
We guarantee to have a Nerd on site within 24 hours of the call being booked. In the normal course of business a Nerd will be able to be on site on the same day.
Emergency Service:
We guarantee to dispatch a Nerd within 15 minutes (there maybe additional charges if you want to access this service).
The Nerd Brain – Our Central Nerdish System
All our Managers / Nerds have access to the technical skills of the entire Nerd group including the problem solving strength of our Central Nerdish system, other Nerd expertise in specific fields and our Nerd Gurus in a neon lit cave somewhere in the Nerd ether. Whatever happens, we’ll make sure you get the best advice.
Travel
Because we’re Nerds and love spending time in the Nerdmobiles we do not levy any travel charges or travel time and you’re only charged for time on site.
